About the Role
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems essential to industrial operations, particularly overhead cranes, lifting equipment, and heavy machinery.
This role ensures the mechanical integrity, safety, and performance of critical components such as brakes, gearboxes, hoisting mechanisms, and structural assemblies. The technician must be capable of working in demanding industrial environments while coordinating closely with electrical teams to support seamless equipment functionality.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and heavy‑duty industrial equipment.
- Inspect, service, and repair brakes, gearboxes, hoisting systems, couplings, and mechanical assemblies.
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting to identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Support crane maintenance activities, ensuring safe and reliable operation of overhead lifting systems.
- Work jointly with electrical technicians to resolve combined mechanical‑electrical faults.
- Maintain detailed records of mechanical repairs, inspections, and component replacements.
- Follow all safety regulations, equipment handling procedures, and company maintenance standards.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong practical experience in mechanical maintenance within industrial or crane‑related environments.
- Knowledge of mechanical components such as brakes, gears, hoists, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding conditions.
- High attention to detail and commitment to equipment safety and reliability.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

- Overhead crane maintenance & troubleshooting
- Electrical systems & fault diagnosis
- VFD installation, programming & settings
- Basic PLC knowledge (Siemens / Allen‑Bradley preferred)
- Mechanical maintenance (brakes, gearboxes, hoisting systems)
- Strong adherence to safety standards
- Ability to work in industrial environments across KSA
