About the Role
The Planning Engineer will develop, monitor, and control project schedules for EPC projects, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and ARAMCO standards. The role requires expertise in project planning tools and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules, baselines, and work breakdown structures (WBS)
- Prepare resource-loaded schedules, manpower histograms, and progress measurement systems
- Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose recovery plans
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPIs
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule accuracy
- Conduct delay analysis, critical path analysis, and risk assessments
- Support project controls, cost tracking, and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with ARAMCO planning and reporting requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning
- ARAMCO project experience preferred
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
