About the Role
A Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems that support water supply, drainage, and sanitation across residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. This role is essential for ensuring safe water distribution, leak‑free systems, and efficient operation of all plumbing networks within the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, valves, and sanitary fixtures
- Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to avoid leaks and blockages
- Diagnose issues such as pipe damage, water pressure problems, and drainage faults
- Install and maintain pumps, heaters, and plumbing‑related mechanical equipment
- Read and interpret plumbing drawings and layout plans
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete tasks efficiently
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, fittings, and materials
- Ability to identify and repair leaks, blockages, and pipe faults
- Experience in facility maintenance, construction, or industrial plumbing
- Knowledge of tools such as pipe cutters, threading machines, and pressure gauges
- Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness and ability to work in confined or elevated spaces
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
