About the Role
The PWHT QC Inspector will oversee post‑weld heat treatment activities to ensure structural integrity and material performance. The role requires strong technical knowledge of PWHT procedures, temperature control, and metallurgical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor PWHT operations including temperature control, soaking time, and heating cycles.
- Verify equipment calibration and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
- Inspect weld joints before and after PWHT.
- Review PWHT charts, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, NDT teams, and Aramco inspectors.
- Maintain accurate quality records and prepare inspection reports.
Requirements
- Aramco approval + CBT certification required.
- 5–8 years of PWHT QC experience.
- Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and metallurgical standards.
