Purchase Assistant

Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant to support our procurement team. The ideal candidate should have experience in local and export purchasing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Responsibilities:
  

• Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
  

• Negotiate pricing, terms & delivery schedules with vendors.
  

• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of goods and materials.
  

• Monitor and track orders to ensure on time delivery.
  

• Maintain and update records of purchase orders, invoices & supplier agreements.
  

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement aligns with company requirements.
  

• Resolve any supply issues, delays, or discrepancies with vendors.
  

• Stay updated on market trends, supplier performance & cost saving opportunities.

• Requirements:
  

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  

• Minimum 2 + years of experience in purchasing (local and export).
  

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and purchasing software.
  

• Ability to analyze and compare supplier offers and contracts.
  

• Must have a valid and transferable Saudi Iqama.
  

• Fluency in English (spoken & written) knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
