Soil Lab Technician

The Soil Lab Technician will perform laboratory tests on soil, aggregates, and construction materials to support engineering and construction projects. The role requires technical accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct soil, aggregate, and material testing according to ASTM/BS standards
• Prepare samples, operate laboratory equipment, and record accurate test results
• Maintain laboratory tools, equipment, and calibration records
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality control guidelines
• Prepare daily test reports and submit findings to the Lab Supervisor
• Assist in field sampling when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering
• Experience working in soil testing laboratories is preferred
• Knowledge of standard testing procedures and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office applications
