About the Role
The Store Data Entry Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and well‑organized inventory records within the company’s store operations. This position supports the Storekeeper and Supply Chain team by maintaining precise data in Microsoft Dynamics 365, monitoring stock levels, updating item movements, and ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with internal procedures. The role requires strong attention to detail, fast data processing skills, and the ability to work in a structured, high‑accuracy environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in storekeeping or data entry, a solid understanding of inventory control, and the ability to coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams. This position is essential for maintaining smooth store operations, preventing stock discrepancies, and supporting daily reporting and audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update all stock transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments) in Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date inventory records
- Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts
- Verify item codes, quantities, and documentation before system entry
- Coordinate with Storekeeper, Procurement, and Operations for stock movement updates
- Prepare inventory reports and highlight discrepancies
- Ensure proper filing of delivery notes, GRNs, issue vouchers, and related documents
- Support store operations by ensuring timely data entry and reporting
- Maintain compliance with company inventory control procedures
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in Storekeeping or Data Entry
- Practical, hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Strong understanding of inventory and stock management
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Must be available for immediate transfer
