About the Role
The Welding QC Inspectorwill ensure all welding activities comply with project specifications, WPS/PQR, and international welding codes. The role requires hands‑on inspection experience and strong knowledge of welding processes and NDT requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect weld joints, fit‑ups, and welding activities.
- Verify WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.
- Monitor welding parameters and ensure compliance with ASME and API codes.
- Coordinate NDT activities and review test reports.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Report NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of welding QC experience.
- Strong knowledge of ASME Section IX, API 1104, and project specifications.
- Experience with NDT coordination and documentation.
